Salary: £65,000–£70,000 per annum
Location: Central London (2 to 3 days per week)
I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a client-side consultancy team, supporting the procurement and delivery of complex technical packages on a high-profile infrastructure programme. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grasp of both pre- and post-contract commercial activity, particularly in procuring technically intricate systems.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes on complex projects
- NEC or FIDIC contract experience.
- Proven experience in infrastructure, rail, energy, or other complex technical environments.
- Confidence in engaging technical stakeholders and navigating commercial processes.
- Chartership is preferred but not essential.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate well-rounded experience across both procurement and delivery stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including preparation of tender documentation, supplier engagement, and commercial evaluation.
- Work closely with internal procurement leads and technical experts to shape and deliver procurement strategy.
- Manage contract award processes and support post-award commercial oversight
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of major packages.
- Assist in the installation phase of procured systems, ensuring compliance with commercial expectations
This will be a 2 to 3 stage interview process including with the consultancy’s client.
