Quantity Surveyor required for long term contract role within a growing projects delivery team focussed on highways projects in the South of the UK.
 
Our clients have a healthy pipeline of works being delivered over the course of 2023, with more planned heading into 2024 too. With this in mind the Commercial area of the business will be vital in ensuring the projects are delivered on time and to budget.
 
As the successful Quantity Surveyor you will be tasked with:
 
·Monthly cost value reconciliation and management of direct costs
·Minor procurement and management of subcontractor accounts
·Contractual support to the Operational team
·Assisting with tendering and pricing of new works
·Management of WIP
·Estimating / agreeing schedule of rates
·Support to more junior staff
 
In return we require an experienced Quantity Surveyor with demonstrable recent experience working for a Highways contractor, ideally with knowledge of National Highways works and schemes.
