Quantity Surveyor - Shape the Future of Nottinghamshire's Highways

You're looking for a role where your expertise is valued, your impact is visible, and your career can genuinely move forward. As a Quantity Surveyor specialising in highways, you will play a key role in delivering infrastructure that communities rely on every day.

Our client is a respected and forward-thinking organisation within the highways and infrastructure sector. You'll be joining a collaborative, supportive team that's committed to delivering high-quality projects across Nottinghamshire, all while fostering professional growth and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
In this Quantity Surveyor role, you will be taking ownership of commercial management across a range of highways schemes. You will be preparing and managing cost estimates, analysing tender returns, overseeing subcontractor accounts, and ensuring projects remain commercially viable from start to finish. You will also be working closely with project managers, site teams and stakeholders to provide expert commercial guidance and ensure contractual compliance throughout each phase of delivery.

To succeed as a Quantity Surveyor, you will bring experience working on highways or broader civil engineering projects, along with strong knowledge of NEC contracts. You will be confident in cost reporting, change management, subcontractor administration and using data to support key commercial decisions. Your communication skills and ability to collaborate across project teams will also be essential.

You will receive a competitive salary tailored to your experience, along with a strong benefits package that supports both your personal and professional wellbeing. You'll also benefit from ongoing training, structured career progression pathways, and opportunities to step into more senior commercial roles as you continue to develop.
This opportunity is based in Nottinghamshire with flexibility around site and office presence, ensuring you can balance hands-on project involvement with a working pattern that suits modern life.
