Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team and take charge of managing highway and civil schemes in beautiful Worcestershire. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to showcase their expertise and contribute to the successful delivery of diverse projects across multiple schemes.


Responsibilities:

·Accurately estimate costs, prepare budgets, and effectively manage finances throughout the project lifecycle.
·Ensure efficient cost control, monitor expenditure, and provide regular reports on financial status.
·Collaborate closely with engineers, planners, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
·Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
·Provide expert advice on cost management strategies, value engineering, and procurement.
·Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
·Maintain comprehensive documentation and records related to cost management activities.
Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the highway and civil engineering sector.
·Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management principles.
·Familiarity with construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
·Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred).
