Role: Pump Engineer - Water Booster Pumps
Location: London - and Surrounding Areas
Salary: £35000 - £40000 Depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8 Hour days + Overtime
Experience: 5 years +
 
This role will be temporary turning permanent after 6 months.
 
Are you a mechanical engineer with experience working on water booster pumps in an industrial setting?
Are you an expert in the field of Pump servicing, repair an maintenance looking for an exciting opportunity in London for building maintenance and water treatment?
 
Our Client is a leading provider of Water Treatment engineering solutions to industrial companies providing a large range of services.
 
They have a vacancy for a Pump Engineer to join the team and carry out planned and reactive maintenance for a range of clients across London, based out of their office in Hounslow, Working hours  40 hours per week plus overtime. The bulk of the work will be servicing clients water booster systems.
 
You will typically start and finish your working day from your home, traveling in the company provided van in and around London to different sites sent to you to carry out the relevant works. You will typically work alone but may be partnered depending on the work at hand. You will generally be carrying out planned repair and maintenance works as well as emergency reactive jobs.
 
You will be provided a company van and fuel card as well as all the equipment needed to carry out your duties. There will be optional overtime as well as opportunities to progress your career to the next step.
 
The role will include:
·Practical knowledge of engineering
·Proven track record of site installation e.g. new pump installation and being able to fault find,  repair, maintain or install pumps
·Mechanical Engineering background
·Fault finding  
·Good communication skills.
·Understanding and able to interpret mechanical drawings
·Good knowledge of site procedures and health and safety requirements
·Ability to complete basic paperwork
 
The ideal candidate:
 
·you MUST have a full UK driving license with 6 points or less
·NVQ level 3, Formal Apprenticeship, ONC, HNC, HND or similar level of qualification
·Experience working with water booster pumps travelling around London
·CSCS/IOSH working safely/CITB or equivalent.
·Welding experience
