Our client a large contractor within the Rail sector is looking for a PTS Electrical Site Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
 
Location is not important as this is a nationwide role, working away from home.
 
The salary is £35k + package.
 
Package includes:
·Transit Van for business & Personal use (Fuel card inc)
·Travel & accommodation expenses paid for where appropriate
·The role is nationwide working away from home and usually follows a 12 days on and 2 days off shift schedule
You will be supporting the Construction Manager, managing the site and contractors (including CDM and all Health and Safety Issues).
 
The main duties include:
·Supervise/assist PSP fitters and wiring staff on site
·Check installation in accordance with the design
·Supervise all contractors and staff on site ensuring that the relevant competencies are adhered to
·Monitor progress against agreed programme
·Ensure that the installation is carried out in accordance with agreed method statements, Network Rail standards and legislation
·Manage resources, plant, labour and labour requirements
·Hold Test and Inspect Competence
·Undertake site surveys and asset studies as required
·Ensure activities comply with PSP HSQE Policies, conform to contractual obligations and meet statutory HS&E regulations. (Y01-AA-REG-0014 Legislative Acts & Compliance Obligations)

The successful candidate must have the following experience and certificates:
·Qualified Electrician
·Electrician Site Supervisor Experience
·Hold a PTS Competency
·SSSTS/IOSH
·Test and Inspect Competence - 2391 0r 2394/2395
 
As above, you will need to be prepared to work away from home but all expenses are paid.
