Role: Project Manager - Water Projects
Location: Beckton, East London
Rate: £350 - £400 per day
Duration: 3 months +
39 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP
 
My client is looking for a Project Manager with civil site or concrete repairs experience to work on their wastewater treatment plant in Beckton.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be managing a team of engineers on a concrete repairs project at a wastewater pumping station.
 
Responsibilities include:
·Project program compliance and updating (with planners).
·Business development and client liaising.
·Monitoring and periodic review of project commercial performance (with commercial colleagues).
·Tasking, productivity, and standards compliance.
·Project risk and change identification/reporting.
·Project design liaison, review, and updating (with designers).
·Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality.
·Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
·Management and monitoring of approved specialist sub-contractors and wider supply chain partners.
·Coordination and liaison with key project stakeholders (internal & external).
·Management of operational assets prior to client hand-over Candidate Description.
·Will have an engineering background with aligned academic and training qualifications.
·Site-based working.
 
Skills and Experience:
·Around 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in the water sector.
·Knowledge and experience of NEC4 Contracts.
·MEICA/civil works multi-disciplined interfacing.
·Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office applications is essential.
·CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely.
·Medium Risk Confined Spaces.
·Ability to work to target dates across multiple projects, whilst maintaining output and timescale requirements.
·Hold a valid full UK driving license.
·Eligible to work in the UK.
