Project Manager - Water Capital Delivery 
Location: Glasgow (with travel across Southern Scotland) 
Rate: £400 per day Umbrella
Contract Type: Long-term contract

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to deliver water and wastewater capital maintenance and growth projects as part of the DV2 Framework with Scottish Water. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering complex schemes safely, efficiently, and to a high quality standard.
The Role 
You will manage projects through the full lifecycle from design through to handover, ensuring compliance with contractual, quality, and health and safety requirements. The position involves regular liaison with stakeholders, managing internal and external teams, and maintaining strong working relationships with Scottish Water to support successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage tender, design, and construction programmes across the full project lifecycle.
 - Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and activity schedules to ensure scope compliance.
 - Support procurement of subcontractors and materials, preparing estimates and quotations where required.
 - Lead on health, safety, and environmental management; prepare and manage Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and Project Quality Plans under CDM regulations.
 - Build and maintain strong relationships with Scottish Water and other stakeholders.
 - Manage and guide project teams to meet time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
 
About You
- Proven background in project management within the water or utilities sector, ideally with an engineering or site-based background.
 - Experience managing planning, specification, design, procurement, and commissioning activities.
 - Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and civil works within water and wastewater environments.
 - Working knowledge of NEC4 contracts, QA, and health and safety procedures.
 - Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
 - Full UK driving licence.
