Job description

What we need:
Our client, one of the local authorities in the Buckinghamshire area have asked us to find them a Project manager with a development background to support them on with ongoing requirements related to HS2.
Act as the responsible Project Manager in the delivery of the Pembroke Road Re-Development Mobilisation Project for a state of the art Workshop and Waste Transfer Station.
The role holder will be responsible for leading the management interface between the construction of the near £10million build and the operational requirements.

Responsibilities:
·Act as a Project Manager in the delivery of the Pembroke Road Re-development Mobilisation Operational Project utilising the PRINCE 2 methodology.
·Lead and manage all interface between the build project team and the operational clients.
·Lead and manage the mobilisation of the new site and ensure all operational requirements are implemented including compliance across a range of governing bodies (Environment Agency, Health and Safety Executive and DVSA).
·Maintain document control procedures, including all project files, in particular,
oProduce and deliver project working documents such as the Project Initiation Document, Communications Plan and Work Stage Plans.
oDevelop Project planning; tracking progress against the critical path;
oManage the co-ordination of internal or external advisors.
oManage the risk management process
oRun project meetings and provide project updates to senior stakeholders including cabinet members
·Completion of all required reports and presentations, including sign off by senior stakeholders.
·Provide technical project advice to the project.
·To co-ordinate dissemination of information on progress of the Project to stakeholders.
·To liaise with other service units in the Council and external organisations on the implications of the Project.
