Project Manager / Employer's Agent - Major Works
Location: Central South (offices in Bournemouth, Farnborough, Southampton, and London)
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)
Our client is an established and forward-thinking consultancy delivering Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Health & Safety, Design, Fire Protection, and more to a diverse range of public and private sector clients.
They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager/Employer's Agent to join their thriving Major Works team in the Central South. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and client-facing professional to play a key role in managing high-profile projects and driving business growth.
 
About the Role:
You'll oversee multiple construction projects (mainly façade remedial works valued between £1m-£20m), ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion. Projects are primarily delivered under JCT Design & Build contracts.
You'll work directly with a varied client base including government departments, national developers, and freeholders-managing contract administration and acting as a trusted Employer's Agent.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage several concurrent construction projects across various stages.
·Conduct technical design reviews and construction procurement.
·Administer JCT contracts and manage project change.
·Engage in client relationship management and development.
·Lead technical documentation and ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
 
What We're Looking For:
·Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Project Manager / EA / CA role.
·Strong technical understanding of construction methods and terminology.
·Experience with JCT contract administration and project procurement.
