Job description

Have you delivered multiple small-to-mid value civils or building projects?

Have you taken schemes from feasibility through to delivery, managing design, contracts and stakeholder expectations along the way?

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 DOE
Location: Central London, 2 to 3 days in office per week.

I’m working with a leading consultancy supporting a major programme working on London's railway arches. This is all about transforming underutilised space into high-quality commercial units from shell and core, new slabs, infills, arch lining, service installations, to the associated public realm works.

The opportunity is for a client-side Project Manager to join on either a permanent or contract basis. The role involves managing a portfolio of lower-value civils/building schemes – typically £250k to £4m – across London, at various stages of the lifecycle.

You’ll be hands-on from feasibility through to delivery, with a focus on buildings, civils, and utilities, managing programmes, stakeholders, and cost alongside design and delivery teams.

Ideal Background:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering construction projects, ideally across multiple sites
  • Comfortable running several projects simultaneously, each at different stages
  • Background with consultancies, client-side teams, or major landlords/retailers (e.g. Network Rail asset management)
  • Knowledge of JCT contracts
  • Independent and delivery-focused
  • Chartership is a plus but not essential

There will be a minimum of 2 interviews, including a face to face meeting.

If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely take ownership, deliver meaningful projects, and work with a well-established, respected consultancy, I’d love to hear from you.
