Role: Project Manager (Water)
Location: Reading
Salary: Up to £65,000 p/a depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
 
Are you a Project Manager with experience in working on projects in the water sector for a consultancy?
 
My client currently has a vacancy for a Project Manager to work on their infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects across multiple water authority frameworks such as Wessex Water, South West Water, and Southern Water.
 
You will be based from my client's office in Reading and a hybrid working set up is available.
 
In this role you will be given the opportunity to work alongside technical teams and will be involved in the preparation of project bids and project planning. You will be assisting in the delivery of projects from inception to completion and will ensure that they are delivered on time, to budget and of a high quality. You will be responsible for commercially managing all contract matters to achieve the optimal outcome for the utility company, whilst delivering successful technical solutions that provide optimal value for money.
 
The ideal candidate will:
·Have Project Management experience within a consultancy, working on clean and/or waste water projects.
·Be educated to a degree level.
·Have excellent NEC contractual awareness.
·Have a strong technical water sector background, including knowledge of relevant UK and international codes and standards, for water and/or wastewater infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure assets.
