Project Manager- Southern Region
 
Salary: £50,000-£60,000

The ideal candidate will be based in the south and within a commutable distance of my client offices in Brentwood.
 
Responsible for:  all activities and resources, ensuring site safety and compliance across the south of England.
 
Essential Competencies and skills:
Previous experience working on Large Civil Engineering projects.
Minimum CSCS Black Card & SSSTS
Experience with NEC Contracts
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Highways, Lighting, and general Civil Engineering.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
·Management of the physical construction activities as instructed by the Area Manager.
·Manage teams on site and complete daily and weekly reports and documentation.
·Ensure that works are completed in time and to budget
·Carry out audit reports, to show all physical works being carried out on site, providing feedback to the Project Manager/HSEQ Manager on Health and Safety issues
·Producing Work Package Plans and Task Briefing sheets
·Ensure recruited staff/operatives/subcontractors are competent for their assigned tasks and responsibilities.
·Embrace and develop new initiatives.
·Promote the reporting of any accidents, incidents or near misses with fellow employees.
·Attend Customer/Stakeholder meetings.
·Liaise with wider site teams and local authorities.
