Job Role: Project Handover Manager
Location: London
Salary: Up to £70,000 p/a plus package


A leading contractor on multiple UK water authorities frameworks is looking to strengthen their Project team with a dedicated Project Handover Manager based in their London office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact on water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:


·Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and issue reports to senior management.
·Documentation Reviews: Chair project documentation reviews with the project teams.
·Client Liaison: Regularly communicate with client representatives to discuss progress and any upcoming issues.
·BMS Implementation: Ensure the BMS is implemented concerning handover until final completion.
·Client Relationships: Maintain good relationships with clients at all levels.
·Reputation Management: Uphold the company's reputation by maintaining good relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers.
·Personnel Management: Ensure sufficient trained personnel are available for the project and aware of their responsibilities.
·Project Management Expertise: Apply detailed knowledge and experience of project management practices from scheme conception to end-user acceptance.
·Continuous Development: Participate in external networking, conferences, associations, and groups to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
·Professional Representation: Present a professional and positive image of the department and in all internal and external contacts.
·Policy Implementation: Understand and implement quality, safety, and environmental policies and targets.
·Customer Satisfaction: Aim to enhance customer perception and satisfaction.
·Technical Knowledge: Maintain practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with delivering water and wastewater design and build projects.
 
Essential Requirements
 
·Project Management Experience: Managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry.
·Documentation Collation: Experience in dealing with documentation collation.
·Educational Qualification: Degree or equivalent in a construction, commercial, or engineering-related discipline.
·Project Management Qualification: PMQ or equivalent.
·Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to work closely with clients, stakeholders, and end users.
·Delivery Driven: Ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on time, cost, and quality objectives.
·Project Delivery Experience: Proven experience in project delivery.
·Skill Set: Strategic, operational, technical, and management skills.
·Contract Knowledge: Knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC and/or IChemE, with the ability to negotiate and administer.
·Governance Reviews: Ability to present at Governance Reviews in a leading capacity.
·Risk & Opportunity Management: Experience in risk and opportunity management.
·Health & Safety Knowledge: Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
 
Desirable


·Industry Experience: Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants.
·Professional Accreditation: Chartered with an engineering, commercial, or construction institution.
·NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
