Highways Programme Manager
 
Are you an experienced Highways Programme Manager looking for your next contract role?
 
I am currently recruiting for a Programme Manager to manage the Highway Capital Programme Schemes for a client in the Midlands on a temporary contract basis. Strong previous local authority experience in delivering small complex highway improvements schemes is crucial.
The key responsibilities for the Highway Programme Manager:
The programme manager will be responsible for delivering effective co-ordination, coherence of the service's projects and management of their inter-dependencies delivered through a range of funding sources and transportation themes. The post will include oversight of any risks and issues arising, quality assurance, providing project support, and ensuring that and external suppliers are creative, and maintaining focus, enthusiasm, and momentum.
 
Qualifications Required:
Diploma/NVQ/Degree civil engineering or transport planning TPP Project Management eg. APM PMQ or PPQ, Prince2 Practitioner
Memberships: Membership of ICE, IHE, CIHT, TPS Membership of Association of Project Management or Project Management Institute
