Principal Transport Planner
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join a well-established and award-winning engineering consultancy based in Leeds. This is an exciting role where you will play a pivotal part in shaping some of the most significant and innovative transport projects across the North of England. As a Senior or Principal Transport Planner, you will have the opportunity to:
·Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring effective communication with your team and clients.
·Prepare Transport Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans, and contribute to the transport chapters of Environmental Statements.
·Engage directly with clients, planners, architects, and contractors, representing the company in meetings and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
·Provide input to site access designs and masterplans, taking all modes of transport into consideration.
·Manage project resources efficiently, ensuring successful and timely project delivery.
·Mentor and develop junior team members, providing technical support and training to Transport Planners and Graduates.

To succeed in this role, you will:
·Hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) and be working towards a professional qualification.
·Have significant experience as a Transport Planner, ideally within a consultancy environment.
·Be comfortable managing multiple client expectations and contributing to project meetings.
·Be commercially aware with an understanding of project finances.
·Have proficiency in junction modelling software (such as JUNCTIONS, LinSig, or equivalent).
·Be familiar with current design standards, able to lead design reviews, and contribute to design work using AutoCAD (or equivalent).
