Are you looking for a new opportunity to work within a large multidisciplinary consultancy who are involved in exciting local and international projects?


With several offices in the UK the company offers a professional and technical service, working with in both the public and private sector, the organisation design, build and enhance their infrastructure and property assets. The company combine expertise to achieve more from the entire built environment.

The team are currently to undertake option identification and initial assessment of potential schemes across the UK. This role can be based in Cardiff, London, NE and NW.
 
The team would like to hear from you if you have the following skills and abilities:
 
·Understanding of the transport scheme appraisal process in the UK, including Highways England Scheme Stages 1 / 2 or WelTAG / WebTAG
·Chartered or working towards chartered status.
·Knowledge of economic analysis software e.g. TUBA
·Experience of liaising and working with partners and agencies
·Knowledge/experience over a range of civil engineering and transport disciplines such as: cycle and pedestrian network delivery, public transport networks and interchanges,
·IT Literate, capable of using MS Word, Excel and other office packages.

Main responsibilities of the role:
·Present outputs from studies to a range of audiences
·Develop relationships with Highway England / Local Authorities.
·Undertake Value of Money BCR assessments for proposed schemes
·With your team create and develop options with subsequent traffic modelling and economic assessment of a number of potential solutions to a transport problems.
