Job description

We are seeking an experienced Housing Officer to deliver a high-quality tenancy management service within a busy Local Authority team.

Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of tenancy management such as successions, assignments, mutual exchanges, legal casework, boundary disputes, and preparing statements for court. You will proactively manage anti-social behaviour cases, conduct investigations, liaise with victims and perpetrators, and maintain detailed records.

The role also involves identifying vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies to ensure safe and sustainable tenancies.
We are looking for a resilient, self-motivated individual who is confident handling confrontation, thinks on their feet, and demonstrates strong attention to detail. Creativity in problem-solving is essential.

The role includes lone working, occasional out-of-hours meetings, and daily use of a car - a full UK driving licence is required.
