Job description

Due to the continued growth and success of the company, this specialist temporary works company are looking to recruit a Principal Temporary Works Design Engineer.This role may also offer the opportunity as Associate Director depending on experience.
 
About the company
 
The company are a well-established temporary works design consultancy who's client orientated approach has rewarded them with a busy and successful business, working across a variety of building sectors throughout London and the South East. Working from home is also permitted on a regular basis.
 
If desired, this position will also offer progression to Director level within the company.
 
Role & Responsibilities

The role would ideally suit a recently chartered Temporary Works Design Engineer with at least 10 years' experience in temporary works design. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be managing multiple projects, mentoring more junior Engineers and managing client relationships.
This role involves a 360 approach where you will be involved with all aspects of the project including hands on technical design, commercials and maintaining and building on client relationships.
The candidate should have a good command of Geotechnics and a sound understanding of construction techniques.

·Formwork
·Marine Works
·Party Wall Consultancy
·Propping, Shoring & Jacking
·Scaffolding
·Structural Alterations

Requirements:

BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
Chartered member of ICE/IStructE
Minimum 10 years' experience within temporary works design
Excellent communication
Ambitious with a drive to succeed and be part of a successful team
Ability to design and manage multiple projects without supervision
Commercial experience
