Job description

Are you a principal structural engineer with experience working on rail infrastructure projects?
 
Do you want to work with a consultancy who truly look after their workers and genuinely offer a great work life balance?
 
My client has taking on over 60 staff since the first lockdown and seen an increase of 13% of headcount within the last 6 months, they made no redundancies and didn't furlough a single member of staff. All workers are working from home and even after covid it will be 2/3 days a week in the office.
 
Core hours is 10-12 and 2-4 the rest of the day can be built around this as long as you complete 7.5 hours, the directors actively encourage you to finish after the completed hours.
 
My client have are working on lots of prestigious projects with the main one being Transpenine. For the right candidate there is future potential for future directorship.
 
This position would suit a strong design lead and is not a PM role.
 
Location: Manchester
 
Salary: up to £60,000 per annum
 
Requirements:
 
·+8 years post graduate experience
·Minimum of five years' experience in the design of civils infrastructure in a rail environment including the application of Network Rail (NR) standards
·Minimum of three years' experience in the design of bridges
·Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE)
 
·Ideally designated CRE for civils for NR projects
