If so, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Principal Quantity Surveyor to join the Design function of the Asset Management department for a Local Authority in South Yorkshire.
 
What will you do?
Within this role you will be integral in managing the Construction Framework providing a full quantity surveying service including:
·Contract administration
·Contractual advice on projects from inception to completion
·Management and control of project budgets
·Management of the RCP construction framework.
 
What are the benefits?
·An initial contract of 2 months
·An hourly pay of £27.66
·37 hours per week
 
What will you need?
·Hold a degree or HNC, Level 7 equivalent relevant to surveying or construction related subject.
·MRICS or MCIOB accreditation
·Extensive experience in quantity surveying & framework management including knowledge & experience in legal & statutory regulations associated with the role.
·Extensive working knowledge & experience in the production of contract documents, bills of quantities, contract administration & contract management.
·Proven experience in managing construction frameworks including procurement regulations.
·Significant experience in the production of cost estimates, cost plans & insurance valuations.
·Knowledge & experience in CDM Regulations 2015
