Principal Geotechnical Engineer
 
 
My client is looking to employ a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with 10+ years of geotechnical design experience in the UK. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing team on a wide range of infrastructure, civil, roads, rail, energy and telecoms projects. This company offer the technical training required for their specialist helical pile types. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad base of design including deep foundations, steel and concrete piled foundations, slope stability analysis and design. The candidate will be required to liaise with clients and external consultants and deliver their own projects from concept stage to construction to a high standard, and to mentor and lead group of Geotechnical Engineers.
 
 Offered salary range is £60-£65K depending on candidate's experience.
 
Requirements:
·An enthusiastic and motivated person striving for geotechnical excellence in the sector with a senior level of experience in geotechnical design of foundations.
·The right candidate should have a good knowledge of foundation design to Eurocode 7, have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·It would be advantageous for the candidate to have specific experience with pile design and related software.
