Are you a Building Services and Maintenance Manager?
If so, this 6-month rolling Local Authority Contract could be of interest to you!
 
What will you do?
You will be responsible for the work, staff and asset management of the Council's housing stock; provide technical expertise and advice; manage the major revenue improvement and capital budgets; and the contractors delivering programmed works. Oversee matters relating to legal compliance ensuring the safety of stock and tenants at all times.
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
·Degree or HNC (Higher National Certificate) or equivalent in a building related/construction subject, or significant experience of managing staff and contractors responsible for the repair and maintenance of a social landlords housing stock.
·A working knowledge of current Construction Design & Management (CDM) and Building Regulations
·Effective staff management skills
·Evidence of effective financial management and budgetary control
·UK Driving License
