An opportunity has arisen for two experienced Permit Officers to join a client in Cambridgeshire.
 
This is a full-time contract offered on an on-going basis, initially for 3 months. Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·To co-ordinate the road works and street works permit scheme database in line with the requirements of Traffic Management Act 2004, New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and associated procedures and policies.
·Accept, reject, and apply conditions to incoming permit applications from utility companies and Contractors to ensure compliance with NRSWA and Traffic Management Act requirements.
·To ensure all permits are reviewed, co-ordinated and managed accurately and efficiently to ensure the safe and expeditious movement of traffic including pedestrians.
 
About You:
Previous experience in Permitting is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Streetworks Inspectors and Coordinators across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.
