Permitting Coordinator
 
Manage day to day permit applications to ensure compliance across a range of measures, including but not limited to the following; Permit applications, Permit variations, Work starts, Work stops, Registrations
 
What the job is for:
 
·Manage day to day permit applications to ensure compliance across a range of measures, including but not limited to below;
a.Permit applications
b.Permit Variations
c.Work Starts
d.Work Stops
e.Registrations
·Monitor permits to prevent FPNs
·Ensure any FPNs received are challenged where appropriate
·Manage stakeholder liaison for works where required
·To carry out other duties consistent with the above that may be directed or implied from time to time as required commensurate to the post.
 
General Responsibilities:

·Promote a safe working environment
·Ensure data collected is accurate and error free
·Ensure all related service performance indicators and contractual requirements are met
·To follow the BMS systems processes
·Monitor permits to prevent FPNs.
·Raising permit applications as per works descriptions
·Checking permit status
·Updating Permit Trackers
  
What you will need to succeed:
 
·An understanding of highway maintenance and works.
·An understanding of NRSWA, TMA and LoPS.
·A flexible approach that is able to adapt to challenging timescales and workloads.
·Possess competent IT skills including the ability to adapt to various software and hardware and Asset Management Systems
·Ability to manage time and workloads to a strict schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner
·Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other team members
 
What you will get in return:

Working in a great team in a fantastic location, this is a full-time contract job. The rate on offer is £22ph, outside of IR35 regulations.
