Job description
Package Manager
We are looking for Package Managers (Agents) to join the delivery team for a major UK infrastructure project. If you thrive in challenging, high-impact environments and want to lead key engineering surveys, this opportunity is for you!
Location: Southeast England, with regular site visits.
Contract: March start (Long Term)
Rate: £500 per day
What You'll Do
As a Package Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering topographical surveys, ground investigations, utility trial trenches, and weathering steel works. You will:
·Plan, coordinate, and monitor subcontractor and self-delivered works to meet project milestones.
·Ensure quality standards are met across all deliverables.
·Liaise with environmental, commercial, and social teams to meet sustainability and community commitments.
·Manage budgets, procurement, design changes, and handover processes.
·Lead, mentor, and develop your engineering team.
We're seeking candidates with:
·Proven experience in a similar role, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.
·Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
·Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts, construction regulations, and best practices.
·Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results against tight deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
·Engineering or Construction Management degree (or related experience).
·Full UK driver's licence and fit for work medical.
·CSCS card.
·Security Clearance and basic DBS check.
·Pre-start drug & alcohol test.
