Job Role - Nuclear Project Engineer
 
Location - Remote with Adhoc Travel to Site (Dungeness)
 
Contract Length - 18 Months
 
Pay Rate - £28.00 to £37.13 Umbrella + O/T (Depending on experience)
 
I am looking to speak with engineers that have experience in nuclear of other highly regulated industries and come from a mechanical/electrical instrumentational multi-discipline background. It would be very advantageous if the candidate had experience in waste projects.
 
The project is based heavily on the design phase, so some design experience is also necessary.
 
Key Responsibilities
·Comply with all environmental, health, safety, security and quality policies
·Comply with work policies, procedures, instructions and risk assessment
·Support the continuous improvement of the above on site.
·Integral part of the design phase of this project
·Contribute to production of project execution plans including design, safety case and commissioning strategies
·Develop concept design and fir for purpose engineering solution for projects.
 
Essential Qualifications
·Appropriate HNC, degree or National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level 5/6
·Experience in a practicing disciplined engineering role (Mechanical, Electrical, C & I or Civil) on industrial Plant
·Experience of Nuclear and/or conventional project engineering.
·Experience of Nuclear and/or a highly regulated industry.
