Job description
NEC Site Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 NEC Site Supervisors to carry out site supervision duties of the civil engineering contractor delivering various projects.
The main duties of the NEC4 Site Supervisor is:
·Overseeing construction of a new two-way segregated cycle path
·Supervising contractual completion of Phase 3 of a Scheme including all necessary ITP/ Quality records and to assist with project closedown.
·The NEC Supervisor will provide support to the NEC Project Manager and is responsible for witnessing tests and inspections by the Contractor and monitoring the quality of construction works on site. Inspections are undertaken to ensure construction is compliant with the Works Information, the NEC Contract and applicable law.
·To assist the NEC Project Manager with managing contractors, sub-contractors, liaising with statutory utilities and dealing with technical queries.
The NEC4 Site Supervisor will have the following qualifications:
·Working towards, or ideally, a Chartered or Incorporated member of the ICE, CIHT or similar.
·Minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction supervisor role.
·Hold a relevant CSCS card or equivalent.
·Hold a valid UK driving licence.
