Job description

Role: MEICA Project Engineer
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: Up to £60,000 p/a plus package  
 
As a market-leading contractor, my client are proud to offer the market a unique end-to-end service. They specialise in providing comprehensive solutions for water and wastewater treatment assets on Southern Water.
 
Responsibilities:


·Oversee M&E package delivery and technical governance.
·Coordinate electrical procurement and on-site installations.
·Ensure high-quality work and safe progress.

Key Accountabilities:


·Ensure subcontract compliance and efficient site works.
·Review subcontract designs and coordinate installations.
·Manage staff and subcontractor performance.
·Maintain quality records and manage maintenance.

Interfaces:


·Internal: Operations, Project Management, Electrical Team.
·External: Subcontractors, Clients, Vendors.

Delegated Authority:


·Electrical AP duties and site coordination.
·Management of site records and subcontractors.
·Review and approval of subcontractor RAMS.

Qualifications/Expertise:


·Qualified Electrician with 5+ years of site experience.
·Relevant Engineering background.
·SMSTS and First Aid certified.

Key Competencies:


·Technical: Project Management, Electrical Systems Expertise.
·Behavioural: Communication, Leadership, Time Management.

Critical Development Experiences:


·Efficient site management and process understanding.
·Effective coordination of trades and client interfaces.
·Contractual awareness and risk management.
·Contribution to business process improvement.
