Job Role - Materials Controller

Location - Grangemouth

Contract Length - 12 Months

Pay Rate - £28 hour (40-60 hours a week)

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum HNC
• Experience in management of warehouse at Project Site in Oil and Gas Industry
• Working knowledge of International Standards of materials used in Oil and Gas industry
• Experience of working with a web based integrated material management covering all phases from design to issue of material at Project Site. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Act as a principal contact point to manage material received at Project Site which typically includes:

• Prepare Project specific warehouse operating procedure using internal standard
• Receive material at the warehouse and verify material with packing list
• Prepare receipt documentation and arrange for inspection by Quality Control (QC)
• Arrange for labelling and binning of material after acceptance by QC
• Prepare over, short and damage material report and arrange for return of material to vendor as may be necessary
• Prepare material issue documentation on request from Field Engineering team and update stock position after issue
• Instal and manage Minimum Stock Control for material as identified by the Project
• Operate material preservation system 
• Manage subcontractor handling the material
• Ensure application of safety procedures by warehouse personnel and material handling subcontractor.
• Maintain liaison with logistics coordinator
