Maritime Clerk of Works/Site Supervisor is urgently required on a contract until the end of January working in Glasgow. This position is a full-time contract offering 45 hour weeks (9 hour days).
 
This position is inside IR35, so Umbrella and CIS is available.
 
Experience required
 
·Maritime/general civils project experience
·Extensive experience working on site with preferably NEC experience
 
Responsibilities
 
-          To act as the Clerk of Works/Site Supervisor during the Construction phase of the projects
-          To ensure a consistently high standard of health & safety and quality control is maintained for the project (site audits etc.)
-          Undertaking regular site inspections of the project to monitor progress, verifying compliance with contractual drawings, warranty standards and the clients' Works Information
-          Identifying and raising discrepancies with the contractor/client Project Manager
-          Preparing written weekly reports with supporting photographs
-          Organising snagging and end of defect inspections with the Principal Contractor & client
