Rate: £550-£600 day umbrella

This is a great opportunity to work on HS2 for the client organisation. They are looking for an experienced construction logistics manager to undertake assurance works on the main contractors logistics managers.
 
You will be going between Euston and Old Oak Common and looking after 3 of the main work contractors. You will be expected to be on site/ working from the contractors site office 3/4 days a week.
 
During construction; monitoring and assessment of contractor compliance with the Logistics Strategy and the Construction Logistics Plan (CLCP) is required for quality and safety assurance purposes and to ensure the efficiency of the coordinated strategy.
 
You must be proactive in reviewing documentation and getting out to site. Checking things like: vehichle movement plans, abnormal loads, site layout and material audits.
 
You will need good interpersonal skills as will be dealing with the main contractor logisitcs managers whilst working from the client side.
 
You will ideally hold CLP Foundation or CLP Training Practitioner. SMSTS, SSSTS and CSCS would be an advantage.
