Opportunity for an experienced Vertical Transportation design Engineer to join a well established building services consultancy in Surrey or London.

My client is a well established Building Services consultancy seeking an experienced Vertical Transportation design Engineer to join their team to lead project delivery in a variety of different sectors including; Large scale Commercial developments, high end residential, leisure and retail.
 
The role would suit a Vertical Transportation design Engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience, 4 of which operating in a Senior/Project lead capacity with experience in the above sectors.

Responsibilities of this role:
 
·Specification and design of people/goods vertical transportation systems including lifts, escalators, hoists, etc.
·Carrying out passenger and goods lift traffic design calculations on existing and new buildings using Elevate software
·Production of specifications and design reports
·Preparing drawings
·Attending client meetings
·Site surveys, inspections and monitoring site lift installation works
·Representing the company at meetings with clients, contractors and lift suppliers
·Carrying out condition surveys, dilapidations and PPM assessments on existing building lift installations
 
The ideal candidate will:
 
·Be Chartered (CEng) or working towards this
·Have a minimum of 4 years experience operating at a Senior level in a similar role
·Have demonstrable experience lead project delivery of large scale commercial projects
·Be experienced in leading teams of junior Engineering staff and collaborating with other disciplines
