Are you a Lead Project Planner with a proven background of leading on rail signalling schemes?
Do you have excellent experience using P6 Primavera?
Our client is looking for a Lead Project Planner to join their team in Newport and lead the planning function on signalling renewal projects and smaller schemes, across the Wales and Western routes.
This is an opportunity not to be missed by an individual with proven P6 planning experience and an excellent understanding of Network Rail standards.
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £443 p/d
IR35: Inside
Location: Office based Newport but remote working optional
Responsibilities:
·Provide professional leadership in respect of the planning processes; identification of key stakeholders; communication; promote awareness of accountabilities and responsibilities.
·Develop, maintain and progress quality project plans / schedules in line with project requirements.
·Maintain key interdependencies between projects and programmes, ensuring appropriate is undertaken as required in a timely manner.
·Confirm plans / schedules in line with the Quality Management Plan
·Provide the key point of interface between the planning function and the project teams and interface between the other project support functions such as Risk & Value; Cost Management etc.
·Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team
Requirements:
·MUST have proven experience working on signalling related projects within the Railway industry.
·Relevant successful experience in the management, planning and delivery of major construction/engineering projects.
·Excellent understanding and knowledge of Network Standards.
·Experience using P6 Primavera is essential.
