Junior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Greater London
Salary: £25,000-£35,000 dependent on experience
My client are a civil engineering contractor working in a variety of sectors, including the field of highways. They are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Greater London. Whether you're a recent graduate or have 1-2 years of experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in quantity surveying in civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assist with the management and administration of NEC and JCT contracts.
·Support in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
·Work on direct client quotations for various projects.
·Perform on-site measurements and valuations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
·Collaborate with senior team members to provide cost and value management for projects.
·Provide general commercial support to ensure the successful financial outcome of projects.
Candidate Requirements:
·A recent graduate or 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally with exposure to NEC and JCT contracts.
·Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
·Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, in the office.
·Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
·Enthusiastic and proactive, with a willingness to learn and develop in the role.
Package:
·£25,000-£35,000 depending on experience.
