Junior Highways Inspector
Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Highways Inspector to join their growing team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to get into the highways sector, with full training provided and the chance to work in a dynamic team, gaining varied experience. The successful candidate will work alongside the Lead Inspector and develop the training and skills required for a successful career in Highways Inspection.
As Junior Highways Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting driven highway inspections, and ensuring that inspection processes and procedures are being followed at all times. Integrity and an excellent work ethic are key, as the role requires a lot of the ability to maintain own workload and confidence in alone working.
Responsibilities of the role:
Conduct driven highway inspections
Identify and report any defects, damage or hazards found during inspections.
Maintain accurate records of all inspections and reports.
Assist in the coordination of repair and maintenance works in accordance with the inspection reports.
Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure that all inspection and maintenance works are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
A degree in civil engineering or a related field.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify defects and hazards.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
A full UK driving license
