A long standing MEP consultancy in Glasgow are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. They have recently moved in to a new state of the art office which is designed to enhance employee experience and productivity with a range of amenities.
 
In this role you will support Senior and Associate Engineers on Mechanical design projects across a vast array of project sectors with a mixture of large and small schemes to achieve sustainable building design and contribute to the UK net zero agenda.
 
Key responsibilities of the role:
 
·Producing detailed Mechanical designs using Hevacomp, IES and AutoCAD - Revit experience is desired
·Energy modelling and thermal comfort analysis
·Technical report writing
·Providing technical expertise to clients and contractors during the project lifecycle
·Carry out site surveys - condition, dilapidations etc
·Taking a lead role on selected mechanical projects
