Job description
Are you an Intermediate Electrical Engineer looking to work on innovative, net-zero buildings and energy-led design projects?
We're working with a growing building services consultancy based in Fareham, known for delivering technically excellent and sustainability-focused MEP design solutions.
They're now looking to bring an Intermediate Electrical Engineer into their close-knit team as they continue to deliver low-carbon new builds and complex retrofit projects across the UK.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work across sectors like healthcare, higher education, residential and commercial - where electrical design plays a critical role in achieving performance, resilience, and net-zero targets.
Why You'll Want to Join:
·Join a consultancy deeply rooted in energy-efficient and sustainable design.
·Contribute to meaningful projects that support decarbonisation and future-proofing of the built environment.
·Work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team where your input genuinely matters.
·Based in Fareham with flexible hybrid working options.
The Role:
·Deliver electrical building services designs across all project stages.
·Design and specify LV distribution, lighting, power, fire alarms, data systems, and security.
·Support energy and sustainability targets through technically smart electrical solutions.
·Use software such as Amtech, Dialux, Revit MEP, and AutoCAD.
·Attend design meetings and collaborate closely with mechanical and sustainability engineers.
What We're Looking For:
·Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering or have sufficient experience "on the tools"
·Previous experience in a consultancy environment delivering electrical design.
·Working knowledge of CIBSE and IET standards, Part L, and energy compliance.
·Familiarity with electrical design tools (e.g., Amtech, Dialux, Revit MEP).
·A keen interest in sustainability and the future of electrical systems in net-zero buildings.
