Hydrological / Hydraulic Modeller

Location: Cardiff / flexible workplace
Salary: £28k to £40k depending on skillset and experience
Employment: Full time permanent

My client is a Cardiff based consultancy who are expanding due to continued project wins and increasing workloads. As a result they are looking for a experience Hydrological Modeller / Senior consultant to join their established team. You will be working as part of a Water and Environmental team and given guidance as well as day to day support by the Principal Consultant / Team Leader.

In this role you will be providing consultancy services for a range of clients and projects which span across multiple sectors such as Infrastructure, power, renewables as well as residential and commercial.

Depending on your strengths and experience you will be delivering

Suitable candidates will ideally have the below:

• Degree qualified (MSc advantageous but not essential) in an engineering, water, environmental or similar related field
• Working towards or completed Chartership with CIWEM or ICE.
• Previous experience and working knowledge of Flood Risk Regulation for planning requirements
• Hydraulic Modelling experience - Ideally with  ReFH 2 or WINFAP 4 but not essential
• Experience of report writing
