An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Technician with experience in Highways and Traffic to join a client in Buckinghamshire. Your main duties include designing and delivering a variety of highway and traffic related schemes including signs, lines and other small-scale projects. Other duties include supporting engineers with traffic and parking projects, investigating highway enquiries from the public, site inspections and liaising with other areas of the organisation to ensure smooth project delivery.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £25 - £27 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
- Using AutoCAD to design a range of highways, parking and traffic schemes
- Working in conjunction with engineers and project managers to deliver the schemes on time and within budget
- Investigating and resolving highway enquiries from the public
- Monitoring the quality of works on site and liaising with other areas of the organisation
