Immediate requirements for two Project Engineers to join our clients team working on a large scale Highways Project based in the North East of the UK.
 
You will hold experience as a Site Engineer on Highways Projects, ideally with knowledge and a background working on National Highways / Highways England projects.
 
As the successful Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring quality control on site and temporary works and providing an engineering oversight. Knowledge of materials/concrete testing would also be advantageous here.
 
Duties include:
 
·Raise, review, and ensure Inspection and Test Plans are implemented throughout the Project
·Ensure site design validation and quality compliance
·Monitor and evaluate variations in ground conditions
·Ensure As Built information are produced, reviewed, and handed over in a timely manner
·Raise and maintain the temporary works schedule, ensure the TW process is always adhered to
 
Specific project management experience would be required here as you will work alongside a team to deliver this project to time and budget. You will also work with the Construction Supervisor to ensure safe working is planned and executed, whilst also understanding the contract & tender process.
