What we need
We are currently seeking and available and experienced Delivery manager for provider works on a major highways network in the Southeast.

What you will do
·Manage the delivery of all schemes originating from the design team.
·Compile scheme folders and maintain an organised internal filing system.
·Ensure Construction and Inventory Updates are recorded and filed with each scheme folder.
·Liaise with the Asset Management team to ensure all asset databases are maintained and up to date information is held.
·Perform site visits to aid with the delivery of the schemes and to better communicate the required works to all involved parties.
·Ensure the delivery of all scheme does not interfere with any external service providers.
·Liaise with various internal departments to obtain any required technical approvals, identifying any restraints that apply to the schemes.
·Co-ordinate the influx of information and amend the delivery of a scheme to suite accordingly.
·Co-ordinate ECI to aid in the delivery process and prepare the programme for the delivery of the works.
·Adhere to CDM procedure to ensure a safe system of works.
·Liaise with the CDM-PD to identify any potential hazards and amend the design/delivery where required.
·Liaise with Roadspace team to get the initial Roadspace booking. Prepare TTRO if required and prepare diversion route drawings.
·Inform the Communications Team about all planned works and ensure the general public are notified at the appropriate juncture.
·Liaise with contractors to get site specific RAMS. Ensure that all the CDM hazards are mitigated and a safe system of work is to be employed.
·Initiate Gateway meetings and ensure that all departments are aware of the programme for the delivery of each scheme.
·Liaise with the commercial team to ensure that the programme is being adhered to and any deadlines are achievable. If necessary, amend the programme accordingly.

What you will need to succeed
·Industry qualification or the equivalent in experience
·Good experience of working within the highways industry including knowledge of network operations and scheme delivery.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·CITB SMSTS Qualification
·CSCS Black managerial card
·Computer literate with regards to MS Office applications/programmes
·Highly developed interpersonal skills
