Civils Site Agent - Lead Civil Engineering Projects in Leeds
You will be stepping into a Civils Site Agent role where your experience, leadership and judgement genuinely matter. What you will be doing as a Civils Site Agent
You will be taking full responsibility for the day-to-day management of civil engineering schemes, ensuring delivery is safe, compliant and on programme. Your role will include:
·You will be carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks
·You will be developing, reviewing and approving RAMS, including subcontractor RAMS
·You will be leading by example on health, safety and environmental standards
·You will be producing construction phase plans and acting as Temporary Works Co-ordinator
·You will be mentoring and developing engineers, setting clear standards on site
·You will be managing information flow, raising technical queries and supporting planning updates
·You will be producing and maintaining weekly programmes and procurement schedules
·You will be monitoring progress and contributing to monthly commercial and programme reports
·You will be supporting the commercial team with measurements, variations and quotations
·You will be managing and appraising subcontractors and supply chain performance
·You will be chairing internal meetings and client progress meetings
·You will be producing daily, weekly and monthly reports in line with contract requirements
·You will be maintaining QA documentation in line with ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001
·You will be compiling H&S files and handover documentation at project completion
As a Civils Site Agent, you will be trusted to identify risks and opportunities, solve problems proactively and ensure standards are met across the entire site team.
What you will need to succeed
To be successful in this Civils Site Agent position, you will bring:
·A relevant civils qualification (HNC, HND or Degree)
·A minimum of 10 years' experience delivering civil engineering schemes
·Strong IT capability and experience with document management systems
·CSCS card (minimum Gold), SMSTS and a solid understanding of NEC/JCT contracts
·Experience working on projects valued between £100k and £5m
·A valid UK driving licence (clean or low points)
·First Aid at Work (desirable but not essential)
