Highways Schemes Agent required for a large highways contractor on a contract basis on the South Coast.
 
As the successful Schemes Agent you will be tasked with the planning and management of in house and sub-contracted workforces. You will ensure client expectations are met, site safety is adhered to and work is carried on time and on budget.
 
A key part of this Schemes Agent role is to also ensure Construction Phase Plans, Risk and Method statements and safe systems of work are in-place before work is started. You will assist with Early Contractor Involvement and build ability considerations including Traffic Management.  
 
A safety management qualification will be required for this either a IOSH or SMSTS with the relevant experience of managing Highways Schemes on site.
 
Driving License, NRSWA and CSCS are also minimum requirements for this position.
 
You'll be provided a van and fuel card on top of this rate too.
 
Hours will tend to be 07.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday with flexibility required at some points for overtime too.
