Summary:
They are delivering a wide range of exciting highways schemes across the West and Wales, which will give you the opportunity to develop your experience and support exciting, high-profile projects and frameworks. This includes the A465 Sections 5 and 6 upgrade, supporting the South Wales Trunk Road Agent and working alongside several local authorities throughout Wales on the SWMWRCES and SEWTAPS frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
·Be an excellent communicator with confidence to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
·Use your excellent analytical skills to derive potential solutions to engineering problems and engineering judgement to appraise and recommend options.
·Undertake designs, production of and review design documentation including sketches, drawings, calculations, reports, and specifications.
·Stay abreast of industry developments and changes in standards.
 
Key Requirements:
·BEng, MEng, or MSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
·Completed IPD, or nearing sign off for Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body (or equivalent experience).
·Experience in civil engineering design and relevant local and UK highway design guides such as DMRB, Manual for Streets and Active Travel (Wales) Design Guidance.
·Good written and oral standard of English.
·Assisting with the resolution of engineering problems.
·Ensuring tasks are carried out within agreed timescales and budgets.
