Role: HGV Driver - Class 1

Rate: £12.62 - Umbrella
Duration: 4 months +
Start date: ASAP
 
My client is looking for HGV Drivers with a class 1 licence and you will be collecting waste on site and transferring to disposable facilities.
 
Responsibilities include:
·To undertake the necessary daily checks as per the Drivers/Operator handbook
·To ensure that the carriageway on & offsite are left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area.
·To confirm to all applicable site rules when off loading at disposal sites.
·To ensure Compound drains are clear.
·To complete a Waste Inventory for all waste stored in the Compound
·To load waste onto transport using the site telehandler with buckets or forks
·To operate the site skip lorry, RORO lorry and trailer combination, cage lorry and waste refuse lorry both on and off site
·To complete checks on waste wheelie bins, skips, drums and other containers around site to ensure they are properly signed, emptied when required, are positioned correctly and are in good working order
·To undertake general yard duties, i.e. bagging and drumming of waste
 
Skills and experience:
·Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence as a minimum and previous driving experience essential
·Driver CPC is essential
·Telehandler Licence is desirable
·CCNSG (safety Passport)ler licence is desirable
·360°Excavator up to 20+ Tonnes is desirable
·ADR licence is desirable
