Graduate Town Planner
 
Salary - £25-£30k per annum
 
Chichester - Hybrid working (3/4 days in the office)
 
Are you a graduate having studied a town planning (or related) degree and looking to take a step into a town planning career?
 
I am working with a consultancy in Chichester who are looking for a graduate town planner to join their team on a full time, hybrid basis. Your duties would include:-
 
- Keeping an accurate database of Planning policies from Local Planning Authorities, Local Plans, and Neighbourhood Plan Reviews for internal use
 
- Evaluating and revising local planning policy and monitoring housing land availability
 
- Aiding in the creation of Planning applications, fulfilling conditions, and preparing appeal documents for submission to Local Planning Authorities and the Planning Inspectorate
 
- Supporting the submission of planning applications to Local Planning Authorities Building and nurturing relationships with important stakeholders and clients
 
- Tracking the advancement of sites within the Development Land portfolio Participating in Planning Committee Meetings and Public Consultation Meetings
 
- Offering general assistance to the Planning and Development Land teams
