Role: Graduate / Assistant Engineer  - Water
Location: Grangemouth
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000
Start: Immediate
 
This role is ideal for a Graduate or someone with data analysis experience looking for full time permanent work in the Water sector.
 
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Graduate engineer / technician  who will be analysing flow data reporting on findings in order to ensure all internal and external KPI's are met.
 
This role is suited to a graduate who is looking to kick start their career in the Water sector or candidates who has experience with report writing an analysis experience looking to further their career.
 
The role will involve:
 
·Commence projects in the Data Office.
·Meeting project deadline on time and to the client's specification.
·Undertake various data/flow editing/analysis finding any issues.
·Record / diarise status of each equipment type ensuring optimum output is attained.
·Coordinate externally with client representatives where applicable
·Coordinate internally with Data Supervisor, Team Leader, Project Managers and Site Teams
·Help towards the improvement of procedures of current systems.
·Occasional flexibility regarding work hours will be required.
·Key skills involved within the role: Microsoft Office, Flow monitoring, KPI's, Reporting, Degree, Data analysis, Excel, Graphs. Hydrologic.
·Full in house training will be provided for this role, however, previous experience within a similar environment would be highly advantageous
 
 
Experience - required and desirable:
·Educated to a degree level in ideally in Geography,Civil Engineering, any degree which contains water sector eg sewers, pipeline, water treatment, hydrology or similar
·Proficient in data analysis skills involving analysis of patterns and numbers
·Microsoft Office Skills predominantly Excel and Word.
·Outstanding attention to detail.
·Exceptional time management and organisational skills to achieve multiple deadlines.
·Must be presentable, dependable and able to communicate clearly.
·Degree level education, with a Hydrological element, highly advantageous but not essential.
·Experience working within water.
·Site experience in flow monitoring technologies would be an advantageous but not essential.
