Graduate Geotechnical Engineer
 
Our client is looking for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in East Grinstead.
 
Our client is currently contributing to many multidisciplinary projects across the country. They are looking for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their Ground Engineering team and undertake a variety of work, including preparing desk-based studies, design and supervision of ground investigations and design of remediation schemes and verification.
 
The successful candidate will receive excellent mentorship, networking opportunities, training, and support to achieve chartership.
 
Responsibilities of the role:
 
·assisting with ground investigation design and implementation.
·geoenvironmental calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation
·complying with relevant Health and Safety regulations and company practice promoting a culture of safety within the team.
·working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
·providing technical input to projects and technical advice to project team members.
·supporting the investigation, design, construction and post construction monitoring of geotechnical aspects of projects.
 
Requirements of the role:
 
·A relevant degree
·A degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·Ability to write reports
