Key Responsibilities:
·Take the lead on ground investigation activities, overseeing everything from procurement to supervising lab testing.
·Deliver insightful reports based on your site investigations, blending both factual data and interpretative analysis.
·Leverage your technical expertise to analyze complex geotechnical and environmental designs, using advanced computer-based analysis tools.
·Design cutting-edge geotechnical and environmental solutions, including foundations, retaining walls, remediation strategies, and more.
·Lead and guide specialist contractors in geotechnical/environmental/groundworks, ensuring smooth project completion and validation.
·Prepare high-quality technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates that align with project objectives.
·Work alongside external sources-like structural engineers, contractors, and sub-contractors-ensuring seamless collaboration and evaluation of designs.
·Build strong relationships with clients, project teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
·Stay committed to Health and Safety and Environmental Law, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
·Take ownership of your career growth by actively pursuing Chartered Status in the engineering field.
What We're Looking For:
·A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's is a plus!).
·Hands-on experience in geotechnical and environmental engineering, with expertise in site investigations, design, and project management.
·Proficiency with geotechnical software and computer-based tools.
·Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
·Excellent communication skills-able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
·Proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
